Nguer Tea
Nguer is a shrub that can reach 3 meters, often a bush less than 1.5 meters. Very common in the Sahel, it invades fallow land.
The leaves are sold in markets and used as a decoction.
Properties:
Nguer tea (Guiera senegalensis) is rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, vitamin C and A. An ideal remedy for coughs.
Nguer leaves are excellent appetite stimulants and are effective in relieving asthma, bronchitis, malaria, tooth decay, and diarrhea. This plant is very effective as a remedy for coughs, especially stubborn coughs, and pneumonia. It is known to be antitussive, antipyretic, diuretic, and galactogenic. It fights various parasitic infections, insomnia, and rheumatism.
USE AND STORAGE
Place one tea bag in a cup and pour hot water over the tea bag. Serve after 3 to 5 minutes.
Drink tea 2 to 3 times a day.
Close the container tightly after use and keep away from excessive heat.
